Learning more about the Boer Goat, regardless of color coat, is important to improve the quality of your herd.  The Boer Goat Congress is a opportunity for breeders to have their stock evaluated by qualified Boer Goat judges in an atmosphere that allows the breeder to watch from the stands and looking at all stock in the arena.  National Titles and Awards.
The stock is separated by:
coat color
sex
age
all milk tooth stock being weighed and grouped within 10 pounds
Breeders will see stock compared by age.  Please classify your animal by the tooth rules.  Check your animals teeth prior to entering the tooth-classes.
Stock may be registered and unregistered.  Please follow the guidelines for entry.

MAY 31, BEGINS AFTER WETHER-RAMA MARKET SHOW

The Boer Goat Course is an opportunity for American Boer goat breeders to learn more about selection of the Boer goat by phenotype. That means it is based upon what the animal looks like prior to considering its genetic make up, by pedigree.
2024 our official instructors and judges are Mr. Anton Ward, Roger McSwain, Ms. Kathy Daves-Carr, and assisted by Rico Zaldivar.  These are professionals within the Boer goat industry, and some of the most well respected and influential Boer Goat judges.  This is your opportunity to learn directly from them, hands-on, in conversation.  Sign up today and secure your spot, they are limited.
The first 15 signed up will receive a Boer Goat Book of Standards and a Special work book created for the course.
Those that complete the course will receive a certificate of completion from the Meat Goat Society.  You may take a Judges exam at the conclusion of the course.
This opportunity, on May 29th, is every breeder's chance to learn how to select and cull their Boer meat goat stock.

If you enter shows and do not show Saturday, pens must be cleaned
upon departure. If a pen is occupied for any reason, it is $5 per day.
ABGA andd JABGA SANCTIONED SHOWS:
• Any one set of two shows $25. per judge, $50. total. Plus $5. per pen, per day.
• Any two sets of two shows $25. per judge, $100.00 total. Plus $5 per pen, per day.
Pen fees $5. per pen, per day. We suggest combining stock in pens to save on pen fees.
