Overview:
The Midwest Buck Sale is a breeder-focused, non-commission production sale held exclusively online. Sellers receive the final bid amount directly from buyers.

Entry Details:

  • Entry Fee: Per Lot $35 (non-refundable)
  • Health Certificates: All goats require a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (CVI) issued within 30 days of the sale by a federally accredited veterinarian.

Seller Requirements:

  1. Identification: Permanent identification is mandatory (tattoos, microchips, or scrapie tags).
  2. Documentation: Sellers must provide to buyer upon pick up.
  • Original registration certificate (if registered)
  • A copy of the pedigree if not registered
  • Copy of the CVI with highlighted matching identification
  • Transfer form (leave buyer info and date blank)
  1. Quality Standards: Animals with visible illness, poor condition, or defects (e.g., pinkeye, hoof issues, split scrotum over 1 inch) will not be allowed to sell
  2. Stock Requirements: Bred does must have pregnancy documentation within 30 days of the sale if sold as guaranteed pregnant

Advertising & Sponsorship Opportunities:

  • Website Ad (1080×1080, color): $50 (remains on website until the next sale)
  • Sale Sponsor: $100 (includes website article and ad and remains on the website indefinitely)

Vendor Opportunities at Goat Expo:

  • Farm/Ranch End Cap Booths: $65 (includes table and chairs)
  • Equipment Vendor Spaces: $165 (20’x20’, outdoor)

Important Notes for Sellers:

  • Sellers are responsible for arranging buyer pickups for sold goats.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Midwest Buck Sale LLC reserves the right to modify terms, refuse service, or terminate access at its discretion.

HOLD HARMLESS WHEN ENTERING THE MIDWEST BUCK SALE AND EVENTS. Each exhibitor, attendee, consignor, or vendor will be solely responsible for any consequential loss, injury or damage done to or occasioned by, or arising from any animal or article exhibited or for sale by him, and shall hold harmless Midwest Buck Sale, LLC, against any and all liability in regard thereto. Midwest Buck Sale, LLC will take reasonable care to ensure the safety of exhibits and property, but the owner must take the risk of exhibiting. In no case will Midwest Buck Sale, LLC be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to property or persons while on the Missouri State fairgrounds, or at any other time or place, nor be liable or required to make any payment for damage, loss or injury. All that enter any event or sign up for anything related to the Midwest Buck Sale, agree: “I have read the contract and agree to abide by all Midwest Buck Sale rules and regulations as witnessed by entering the events May 28-May 31, 2025.
