Vendor booth spaces will be available at the event location to provide goat enthusiasts with the opportunity to engage with attendees during this weeks festival. This is a community type event that includes homesteading ideas and other farmer rancher life styles.

This is a home farming, simple life, land owner, home owner, gardening, livestock event. Please make sure your business is relevant to this topic.

We accept all types of vendors. We are working with the Sedalia Chamber of Commerce to build a fun Homestead type atmosphere, with a trade show and vendors for the general public to enjoy. This is a family oriented event.

Vendor locations are under the Swine Pavilion, under the Sheep Pavilion, inside the FFA Building, or outside on the grass between the facilities on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. (MAP OF GROUNDS)

All spots are assigned. Please stay within the markings due to fire truck safety and access. Do not block isles in the buildings or the roadways. No combustible products inside the FFA building. No generators or other gas/diesel powered motors. Electric is available and vendor must supply their own extension cord.

Booth numbers will be assigned, and spaces filled on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are interested in renting multiple booth spaces in each venue, please note that when you complete the application.

Booth spaces are 10’×10′ and do not include a table or chairs, unless noted that it is included in the package. Table, chairs, and electric are available at a fee.  A full list specific to your booth size selection will be supplied to you along with your vendor packet.  A wide array of other display needs are available for rent from our partners for an additional fee.

We suggest using a canopy, even under the pavilions and on the grass. The FFA building is a temperature controlled space. This space is limited and on a first come first signed up basis. Each booth is a 10’X10′ space. You may reserve addition 10’x10′ spaces in the building.

If you are Value Added Vendor, please make a note on your application, in the notes.

Show management requires all vendors to have their booths open and operational for attendees during posted show hours. 9:00 am- 4 pm Friday and Saturday.

Set up is May 30th 9am-8pm

Take down is June 1, after 4pm

Payment is due at time of application. This is a farmers market type event that welcomes individuals and small businesses an opportunity to offer their product to consumers. Please know your audience. All taxes and licenses are up to the vendor.

This is a family oriented, homestead-farm living, type event with learning opportunities that are geared toward goats and products created from goats. We focus on livestock producers for the market and show portions of the industry. Generally, goat farmers have other livestock they raise. Lifestyles can be from small home farms to large ranches.

IMPORTANT: If you are a food truck or food vendor you must have insurance and provide proof of insurance. If you are a food truck, food vendor, or plan to make food onsite for sale, YOU MUST HAVE A HEALTH CERTIFICATE through the county.

If your registration is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • We accept only one food Truck Vendor. Other food vendors may apply.
  • Vendor must provide own canopy, table, and chairs.
  • Electricity is $20. Please note this on your registration.
  • Water is available.
  • We reserve the right to turn away any vendor if we feel it is not a good fit for this event or if we have similar vendors of the same products.
  • Vendors are responsible for their own products, banners, promo materials, tents, etc.
  • Each vendor is required to clean up their space. If your space is not cleaned properly upon departure, there may be a cleanup fee billed separately. Please use trash cans located at the facility.
  • This is a binding agreement. If you decide to cancel your vendor space at this event, there are no refunds. No exceptions, unless event is canceled by us. If the Midwest Buck Sale cancels the event week, all monies will be refunded.
  • ALL FOOD ITEMS MUST BE LABELED. All food items (breads, desserts, cheese, etc) must be labeled with an ingredient list. If your food items are homemade, your label must state that your items are not created in an inspected or commercial kitchen.
  • Goat Expo LLC and Midwest Buck Sale LLC are not legally responsible, if a vendor is not in compliance with Missouri state laws. Please do your research and follow your state laws. We are also not responsible for injury of self or products. You are in charge of your own insurance for your vendor space and business. This includes theft. Please lock up your belongings at night. Security is present as a precaution.
    • If you are chosen as a FOOD VENDOR, you must present their health certificate 2 weeks before event.
    • ALL VENDORS are required to set up their booths on Thursday May 30th and take down their booth on June 1, 4-8pm.
    • ALL VENDORS are required to attend their booths from 9am-4pm both days May 31 & June 1st.

PROMOTION: Special announcement that you are coming on all of our social media outlets. You will receive a free link on our website also. We need your logo and links to your social media and websites.

Camping is available on the grounds just north of the swine pavilion. Rate are paid directly to the Mo State Fairgrounds, they come around and collect at your spot. Make yourself at home. Campground link.

INDEMNIFICATION

Exhibitor shall indemnify, hold harmless, and defend GOAT EXPO and Midwest Buck Sale, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors and permitted assigns (collectively, “Indemnified Party”) against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including attorneys’ fees, that are incurred by Indemnified Party (collectively, “Losses”), arising out of or resulting from (a) injury to the person, property, or business of any person in connection with Exhibitor’s conduct of its exhibit, (b) Exhibitor’s construction or maintenance of an unsafe exhibit, (c) any act, omission, negligence, fault, violation of law or ordinance, or misconduct of Exhibitor, its employees, subcontractors, invitees or agents, or any breach by Exhibitor of any agreements, covenant, promises or other obligations under this Agreement, (d) Exhibitor’s participation or presence at the Event and/or use of any of the Event facilities, (e) Any claim brought by any of its employees, agents, contractors, or invitees against an Indemnified Party in connection with such activity, or (f) Exhibitor’s actual or alleged infringement of the patent, trademark, copyright, or any other intellectual property rights of a third party including any claim resulting from the use of copyrighted music, dramatic materials, or other property which is used by Exhibitor in connection with the Event.
