Boer Goat Congress
USD $25.00Learning more about the Boer Goat, regardless of color coat, is important to improve the quality of your herd. The Boer Goat Congress is a opportunity for breeders to have their stock evaluated by qualified Boer Goat judges in an atmosphere that allows the breeder to watch from the stands and looking at all stock in the arena. The stock is separated by:
coat color
sex
age
all milk tooth stock being weighed and grouped within 10 pounds
Breeders will see stock compared by age. Please classify your animal by the tooth rules. Check your animals teeth prior to entering the tooth-classes.

NO COMMISSION. Each entry includes one pen for the animal and one bag of shavings. Additional tack pens or stock pens are $10 each. Additional shavings will not be available on the grounds. Please purchase at a local farm store.
All stock is inspected prior to selling. Culls do not sell.

The Midwest Buck Sale is an opportunity for meat, fiber, and dairy goat breeders across America to showcase their production stock in a production type atmosphere. The week begins with learning events and speakers and rounds out the weekend with the final sale. This is your opportunity to sell your stock to others around the USA.
SELLERS MAY ARRIVE: THURSDAY MAY 29TH, AFTER 4 PM. All consigned goats must be in place by NOON, FRIDAY, MAY 30th, no exceptions. Preview is Friday, at 6:00 pm.

Boer Goat Course
USD $150.00The Boer Goat Course is an opportunity for American Boer goat breeders to learn more about selection of the Boer goat by phenotype. That means it is based upon what the animal looks like prior to considering its genetic make up, by pedigree.
2025 our official instructors are Mr. Anton Ward with an additional special South African breeder and Judge (to be announced soon), and assisted by Rico Zaldivar. These men are professionals within the Boer goat industry, well respected and influential Boer Goat judges. This is your opportunity to learn directly from them, hands-on, in conversation, and class room training. Sign up today and secure your spot, they are limited.
Everyone will receive a Special work book created for the course.
Those that complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. You may take a Judges exam at the conclusion of the course to see what you have learned.
This opportunity, on May 29-30th (Thursday and Friday). It is every breeder's chance to learn how to select and cull their Boer meat goat stock.
