Boer Goat Congress

Learning more about the Boer Goat, regardless of color coat, is important to improve the quality of your herd. The Boer Goat Congress is a opportunity for breeders to have their stock evaluated by qualified American and South African Boer Goat judges in an atmosphere that allows the breeder to watch from the stands and looking at all stock in the arena. The stock is separated by:
- coat color
- sex
- age
- all milk tooth stock being weighed and grouped within 10 pounds
Breeders will see stock compared by age. Please classify your animal by the tooth rules. Check your animals teeth prior to entering the tooth-classes.
Stock may be registered and unregistered. Please follow the guidelines for entry.
Please select a color category for your entry.
Entry fee is $25.00 per head.
One entry can be:
- Buck
- Doe
- Doe with Kid(s) on side
- Pen of Three Yearling Does.
- Breeders Herd Special Award - Buck, 2 breeding age does (unrelated to buck), two-two tooth does that are sired by the buck, and one milk tooth or two tooth buck kid sired by buck. Kids should be out of one of the two does entered in the breeder herd group. (class is $25 to enter and not per head)
Boer Goat Congress stock will be evaluated by Anton Ward and a special guest South African Judge.
Pen Fees are $5.00 per pen. If you need a tack pen, please add that to your cart. Each tack pen is $5.00
Arrival May 30, 4-7pm or May 31, 7-8 am
May 31: 9:00 am
Please have health certificates available at check in. All stock must have a health certificate even if you reside in Missouri.
